I am an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky‘s School of Information Science.

As a researcher, I primarily ask questions related to academic libraries and/or scholarly communication. Some of my latest work has been on peer review, reference and information services, and qualitative methodology.

As an instructor, I teach courses in the School’s library science (LS) graduate program and in the information and communication technology (ICT) undergraduate and graduate programs. Some recent courses I have taught include graduate courses on electronic resource management (LS) and knowledge management (LS/ICT), and undergraduate courses on Linux systems administration (ICT) and semantic web development (ICT).
